How do you rebut the great apostasy especially when LDS apologist always refer to the Jesus war book. I finally smacked them down on Twitter but pointing out it's an HISTORIAN'S ACCOUNT, not a THEOLOGICAL REBUTTAL. Also, how to answer the assertion the incorporation of Greek philosophy corrupted the 'pure' simple gospel.
I was raised Mormon and fell away from it in my 20s. After doing a lot of my own research and listening to your show, reading your books, amongst other book from great Catholic writers, I am happy to say that I am coming home! I am in OCIA now and plan on getting baptized this coming Easter. I owe much credit to you Mr. Madrid for my journey to the Catholic Church! Thank you for all you do for so many people like myself that are seeking the truth! God bless you!
As providence would have it I was able to listen to a couple hours of podcasts from Thursday or Friday. I loved the engagement with Rich the spiritual new age dude, and your comment that you wished a Rich would call every day. It reminded me when you broadcast on Immaculate Heart Radio and had alot of California callers. The callers I loved were what I termed "stoner calls" trying to convince you to get on the maryjane bandwagon. Loved those calls. Peace
Yes! It’s great to see you in writing again, Patrick. As a platform for writers, Substack allows for greater development of topics than the talk show format. I found myself Surprised by Truth (pun intended) about key differences between the LDS and the Catholic Church. You laid them out so clearly and interestingly, and with your usual even-handedness.
